The built-in software provided by Cisco for the Flip MinoHD (which also works for the Flip Mino, Flip Ultra, and Flip UltraHD) automatically installs, and transfers the 720 HD video to your computer, or you can choose to upload the video directly to your video sharing site directly from the Ultra HD camera.

The Flip MinoHD on board video application (which installs the first time you attach the video camera to your computer) also allows you to do some basic digital video editing. This software is designed to be as easy to use as the MinoHD camera itself. The Flip MinoHD has on board compression to keep the file sizes small for you.

The Flip Ultra HD comes in two versions, the 30 minute version and the 60 minute version. Both the Ultra HD and the Mino HD come with an A/V connector to play the digital video directly to your television. And for the first time on a Flip video camera, the new Ultra HD has an HDMI video output connector.

The new Ultra HD also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and can be swapped out with standard AA batteries, if you're in a pinch.
